Application frontend of TaskControl is heavily using caching in order to prevent unnecessary reading data from database or other resources.

There are circumstances where it may be beneficial to empty application cache. The operation empties cache on application level and thus affects cache of all users.

Application cache Recycle can help, if:

• there has been changes done to database data directly such as bulk operations
• the application behavior suggests a problem or a bug such as online changes are not displayed to users
• a specific user has problems during role changes.

Cache reset does not have effect on user sessions and editing operations should be properly committed. It is still recommended to stop working with TaskControl during application cache reset.
