Managing Short (near real time) Activities

TaskControl is suited to control sets of short activities where coordination between many Executors is necessary and time is precious.

All the changes that require good timing, timely start, historical records of what and when has been done, can be controlled with TaskControl.

TaskControl supports 1 minute as a shortest timeframe for a task.

Typical examples of short-time or realtime plans are:

  • maintenance of any sort (nightly, weekend jobs)
  • software releasing
  • overnight changes of hardware
  • changes to manufacturing lines.
